Well it's 2013 and we are still reeling from the aftermath of so many events... the one thing I have found to be true ... in the nature of people and events... is that we still have the capacity to help one another and stand up for each other when it counts. Let's continue to do that throughout this year and all the rest that follow.

East Village Crash

I was cited in the news as helping out one of the injured during this weekend's terrible crash at the Bean. I would like to clarify that I was only one of many people helping the injured at the scene of this accident. There was one man holding that young man's head the entire time. There were men and women at each injured person, helping and offering solace and comfort. They all showed a great deal of compassion till the medical units arrived. Makes me proud of New Yorker's all over again.

2010 is the One!

Every year at New Year's time we wish each other a great new year. Of course, we mean it.. we say to ourselves .. "this year is going to be better" .. sometimes our expectations fall short.. and a year may not seem so great after all .. and certainly last year was devastating to millions.. but often we forget the good mixed in with the bad. In spite of everything... I truly feel this year is going to be much better for so many. Here's to hope.. our best friend... and here is wishing to you all.. the best year ever ..
